Bread Cloche

A friend asked if I could make a bread cloche yesterday. Since I had no idea what one was, I got busy finding out and decided to try a couple yesterday.

This evening I trimmed and handled them, while Christy applied the carving:

Will this be just bisqued? It's very cool.

Judy,
I plan to fully fire them and glaze the outside. I'm leaving the inside unglazed.

Meredith,
Thanks for the compliment. You may not know, but we have met. We were at the Catawba Valley show last year (as customers) and bought a small piece. We also have a pitcher that we bought some years ago at the fall seagrove festival. We love them both. Next time I see you I'll formally introduce myself.
